Installation of Payment Processor Plug-Ins is simple thanks to the hot plug-in architecture provided by BV Commerce 2004. Simply drop the files in place as specified by the instructions specific to your Gateway, add your purchased serial number to the web.config file then configure BVC 2004's Payment Settings area and you are ready to process Credit Card transactions with the newly licensed plug-in.
When installing the Plug-In package downloaded from NC Software we've included an easy way to check for updates. Click the "Check for Updates" located in the Program Files folder created when installing the payment plug-in suite. Customers that purchased the Maintenance Plan are entitled to free updates for the duration of the contract term.
During payment processing the plug-ins will reference your merchant admin countries/regions area to retrieve the two letter Abbreviation (if required) for the corresponding region. Several countries/regions come pre-configured out of the box for BV, however Canada, as an example, requires the addition of two letter abbreviations for the regions, as well as other region areas. Be sure your customer Countries/Regions are completely configured prior to payment processing. (Go to Settings...Countries then click Regions as required)

*Please review any limitations for your specific gateway in the footnotes area of each gateway description. Some gateways are limited in transaction methods such as not supporting void, credit, etc.
Don't forget to set your payment processor to LIVE in the Settings...Payment area (edit processor link) prior to taking any live orders. The default in BV Commerce 2004 is TEST mode for transaction processing until the merchant switches this to live.
